Multiple Game Templates lets you create default settings for a Sport allowing you to add multiple events quickly through Add Event.
To create a Template:
- Click Events - Templates.
- Manage all templates on this page.
- Click the + Button.
- Type in a Name & Description.
- Enter Team #1 Information. Sport, Level & Game Type.
- This is the team that the template will be based off of.
- Enter the Information for when Team # 1 is HOME.
- Enter the Information for when Team #1 is AWAY.
- Click Save.
- Add in another Team by clicking Add Team.
- Select the Sport Level & Game Type for Additional Team.
- Enter the information for the additional Team for when Team #1 is Home.
- Example: Team #1 is Varsity Boys Basketball & Team #2 is Varsity Girls Basketball. When Varsity Boy's Basketball is Home then Team #2 Varsity Girls Basketball is Away. For Day, same would be selected and for Site opposite would be selected.
- Enter the information for the additional Team when Team #1 is Away.
- Click Save.
- Add as many teams as needed for the Template.
To Use a Template:
- Click Events - Add Event.
- Select Yes under Use Multiple Game Template.
- Use the drop down to select the template.
- Choose the date for the event based off of Team # 1.
- Select the location for the event based off of Team #1.
- Check off the individuals for event notifications (this is not required).
- Click submit.
- The games will populate based off of the template.
- Click the pencil icon to edit any game information.
- Click confirm.
- The games are now added to the calendar.
To edit events created by a template:
- Edit directly from the calendar by clicking the pencil icon.
- Edit from the schedule on the Teams page by clicking the pencil icon.
- Edit from the Multiple Game Templates page.
- Click the eye icon under events on the specific template.
- Click the eye icon under view games of the opponent.
- Click the pencil icon on the game that needs to be edited.
