Team Selection

Team Selection allows schools to define which sports and levels (Varsity, JV, etc.) are offered. Team Selection determines which teams appear in Teams Manager and what sports you can schedule and roster for in CIF Home. 

To add Official CIF Sports: 

• Click Teams in the left navigation menu.

• Select Team Selection.

• Click the + Button.

• Use the drop down to select the sport.

• Check off the levels offered at the school (Varsity, JV, Freshman)
  • If a level needs to be added reach out to [e-mail] 
• Click Save.

To add additional Sports & Activities:

• Click Teams in the left navigation menu.

• Select Team Selection.

• Click the + Button under Other Sports & Activities. 

• Use the drop down to select the Sport or Activity. 
  • If the Sport or Activity is not listed reach out to [e-mail]. 
• Check off the levels offered at the school (Varsity, JV, Freshman)
  • If a level needs to be added reach out to [e-mail].
• Click Save. 

Selecting Sports for the New Year

Team Selection will need to be completed each year. 

• Use the Year drop down to select the year. 
• Click Search. 
• Click Copy Previous Year.
• The same sports & levels will populate for the new year. 

Troubleshooting: Teams Not Appearing in Teams Manager

• Confirm the sport is selected in Team Selection.

• Click Save.

• Refresh the Teams Manager page.

Troubleshooting: Level not attached to a Sport

• Click the pencil icon next to the sport. 

• Check off the levels.

• Click Save.

• Refresh the Teams Manager page.
